The Altered Book. That destroyed my bedroom.

Last night, I finished the first mini-project for Book Design Class: The Altered Book. Basically, our assignment was to take a used book and change it into something new. I had a lot of fun with the project, but it was very time consuming and very messy! It took me nearly 45 minutes to clean up all the scraps of paper when I was finished.

Assignment 1: Reversed Storyboard

For the first assignment in STA 467: Time and Motion, we had to create a reversed storyboard for the last motion piece we selected. Mine was the Pyrex "Cooking Solved" commercial.

I really like Pyrex's new motion graphic/commercial. I've always thought of Pyrex as the company for glass measuring cups, and that's about it. This new commercial consumer how versatile the brand has become.

I enjoy the mix of photographic and hand-drawn elements, and I think this video lends to brand to looking more youthful and whimsical. Good job, Pyrex. Keep up the good work!
